Gypsy has been candid about her weight loss journey, explaining that it began after she was released from prison in December 2023.

"I've seen a lot of comments of people asking how I lost the weight so my weight loss journey started once getting out of prison so when I started eating healthier instead of prison food, the weight began to fall off," she wrote. "I started eating twice a day and smaller portions."

Besides altering her diet, Blanchard embraced a fitness routine to aid her transformation. She shared that she's "focusing on getting fit by doing yoga and other exercises to help tone [her] belly." To further her fitness goals, she even bought small gym equipment for her home.

Adding to her physical transformation, Gypsy revamped her look by cutting her long hair into a stylish chin-length bob and undergoing extensive dental surgery and rhinoplasty.

She introduced these changes as part of her personal transformation journey, which also included divorcing her husband, Ryan Anderson, and rekindling her romance with ex-fiance Ken Urker.

Gypsy and Ken welcomed their daughter, Aurora, in December 2024. The former felon opened up about her new role as a mother, expressing her desire to build a strong mother-daughter bond with Aurora, something she "didn't have" with her own mom, Dee Dee Blanchard.

Gypsy disclosed to PEOPLE, "It's nice that I can just step into that role of a mother and see how it's supposed to be."
