Gal Gadot's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony was far from a typical celebration, as it became a stage for both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli protesters to voice their grievances.

AceShowbiz - The Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony honoring Gal Gadot took a dramatic turn when demonstrators advocating for both pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli causes clashed at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, prompting police's response.

As the event was set to begin, several dozen protesters, armed with signs and chants, gathered near the tented area on Hollywood Boulevard, capturing the attention of attendees and the media and ultimately overshadowing the actress and her guests.

The Israeli actress celebrated for her roles in "Wonder Woman" franchise has been vocal with her support for Israeli causes.

Pro-Palestinian protesters showcased slogans such as "Heros Fight Like Palestinians," "Viva Viva Palestina," and "Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel's crime." Emotions were high as chants like "Up up with liberation, down down with occupation" resonated through the crowd.

Roma Ealaicos, a pro-Palestinian demonstrator, expressed frustration over the current situation in Gaza, stating, "We're all really upset about what's happening in Gaza right now. From the last year and a half, and especially in the last 24-48 hours, 400 innocent people have been killed by the Israeli military, unprovoked."

On the other side, pro-Israeli supporters, including content creator Dana Nikri, held Israeli flags and shared personal stories of loss, insisting that their actions were reactions to aggression.

Nikri recounted the tragic fate of her friends at the Nova Music Festival, "They come [to] our home and take us from our home and give us dead children. We don't start war, we don't want war at all."

The ceremony itself, despite starting 15 minutes late amid the uproar, proceeded with heartfelt tributes. Gadot was supported by "Wonder Woman" director Patty Jenkins and "Fast and Furious" co-star Vin Diesel.

In her speech, Gadot reflected on her journey from Israel to Hollywood, saying, "I'm just a girl from a town in Israel, this star will remind me that with hard work and passion and some faith, anything is possible."

Gadot recently addressed the controversy. "Who cares about the celebrity talking about politics?" she said to Variety. "I'm an artist. I want to entertain people. I want to bring hope and be a beacon of light whenever I say anything about the world."

The protests at Gadot's ceremony echo the broader sentiments seen at other recent events, such as the premiere of "Captain America: Brave New World," where the inclusion of the Israeli superhero Sabra spurred similar pro-Palestine protests.

As Gal Gadot continues to navigate her career, her outspoken support for Israel remains a focal point of contention, reflecting the intricate and charged political dynamics that pervade even Hollywood's brightest celebrations.
