Rapper DDG has alleged that singer and actress Halle Bailey has been preventing him from seeing their son, Halo, as their co-parenting relationship becomes increasingly strained.

AceShowbiz - DDG, born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., is facing hurdles in co-parenting son with his ex Halle Bailey. He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his frustration.
He accused "The Little Mermaid" of blocking him to see their kid, "Been fighting to see my son for months now... shoutout to all the Dads who try their best to be there. This s*** sucks."
The rapper claims he feels more like a "nanny" than a father, stating, "The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. And I don't even know the nanny name... Like, it's just not fair bro."
The pair, who welcomed their son three days before Christmas in 2023, shared the news of their split in October 2024. Despite an initial co-parenting harmony, exemplified by a shared celebration for Halo's first birthday, their relationship has apparently soured.
He further lamented, "Behind closed doors, I have not been able to see my son. Only if we on perfect terms and she around, it's cool, but if we not, I don't get to see him.â€
Frustrated by the lack of access to his son, DDG has threatened to take the matter to court if the issues persist. His frustration is evident as he vows to number the days he's kept from seeing Halo and fight for more time with him.
DDG defended his decision to go public with the co-parenting issues, "I have to come on here and I gotta do this s***, but I gotta do it like this," adding that he might have to "go to court, do all this extra s*** when it ain't gotta be like that, bro."
Bailey, on her part, has previously voiced her concerns about co-parenting issues in since-deleted tweets, especially criticizing DDG for showing Halo on a livestream without her consent.
She wrote, "I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people... As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected." Although Bailey later acknowledged she might have overreacted, the tension between the two remains palpable.
