AceShowbiz - Kendra Wilkinson has taken a strong stance against online trolls, who have criticized her appearance amid her weight-loss journey. "If I look old then so be it," the 39-year-old Girls Next Door alum posted via her Instastory.
Addressing her 8.6 million social media followers while posting video and photo from her gym session, she unapologetically declared, "I don't care as much as a**holes do. God bless haters today. Too busy!"
Her workout routine has included pole-dancing classes, which she admits aren't her strongest suit, but she's enjoying the process. "I'm not the best stripper but we are laughing and having fun," she said, emphasizing the importance of joy and fun in her routines.
Taking a balanced approach to her wellness journey, Wilkinson previously shared, "I can say I'm definitely not all hardcore diet [and] workout. I'm planning on keeping it pretty chill but aware. Mixing it up with some dancing, tennis, walks too to feel the laughter and fun with friends is always good."
Since her journey began, Wilkinson has been updating her followers on her progress. On January 29, she proudly said, "I had lost a few lbs already and have only had one champagne since the start of my venture."
"Yes, I've gained weight. Yes, I'm aging. Yes, I'm not that girl I was before (playboy girl)," she said. She underscores the significance of a positive mindset, "The key for me is to not be so hard on myself, simply feel good and to not burn out feeling pressure to look a certain way."
"I am happy the way I am but just need to stay positive and mindful. Stay focused on selling homes and being a basketball mama." She even mentioned treating herself to a glass of wine, showing that balance is her main goal.
Besides battling body-shamers, Kendra Wilkinson is also facing backlash for her controversial stance on waste dumping relocations from her affluent neighbourhood, Calabasas.
She and Kourtney Kardashian were slammed for their involvement in a protest advocating for transferring garbage to less privileged areas like Kettleman Hills and Buttonwillow.
In a follow-up post after posting pictures from the protest, she defended herself, "I can't apologize for being supportive of my community being there to create positive change but what I can say Is I understand that this waste has to go somewhere."
At the same time, she admitted that she was uneducated on the issue, "I'm not a politician nor was I educated on what my friends sign said. I just showed up to be there. No toxic waste should be dumped anywhere near schools and residential areas. Period."
