The Queen of Pop, Madonna, has once again voiced her criticism of President Donald Trump, this time addressing a controversial White House social media post that depicted Trump as a king.

AceShowbiz - Madonna, the iconic Queen of Pop, has never been one to shy away from political commentary. This time, her target is a recent post shared that portrayed President Donald Trump as a king and was shared by the official White House X account.

The altered Time magazine cover featured Trump's name, a crown, and a bold caption reading "long live the king." The post was timed with his administration's directive for New York to end congestion pricing.

Madonna took to Instagram Stories to criticize the irony of the monarchy reference given America's founding principles.

"I thought this country was built by Europeans, escaping living under the rule of a King, to establish a New World governed by the people," she wrote. "Currently, we have a president who calls himself our King. If this is a joke, I'm not laughing.”

This isn't Madonna's first public critique of Trump's actions. Immediately after Trump's inauguration in January 2017, she delivered a fiery speech at the Women's March on Washington, denouncing the "new age of tyranny" and urging for continued resistance.

"Welcome to the revolution of love, to the rebellion, to our refusal as women to accept this new age of tyranny, where not just women are in danger but all marginalized people, where being uniquely different right now might truly be considered a crime," she passionately told the crowd.

In recent times, Madonna's critiques have been fueled by Trump's executive orders which have systematically rolled back protections for LGBTQIA+ communities and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within government.

She lamented this ongoing rollback on her social media platforms, "It's so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years." Her post carried an emotive pride flag and a broken heart emoji, urging her fans and followers, "Don't give up the Fight!"
