'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum Teddi Mellencamp opened up about a serious health battle that has left her fans and friends rooting for her recovery.

AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" former star Teddi Mellencamp opened up about her multiple brain tumors. The 43-year-old reality star disclosed on Wednesday that she will be undergoing emergency surgery following her diagnosis.

"For the last several weeks I've been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization," she shared in a heartfelt Instagram post. "After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least six months."

Mellencamp has shaved her head in preparation for the surgery while maintaining her sense of humor. In an Instagram video, she joked about her new look, "I didn't have this look on my bucket list." She called her buzz cut, "My best look."

Messages of support have poured in from celebrities and fans alike. Real Housewives cast members and other Bravolebrities have sent their prayers and well-wishes.

"Praying for your health my friend," commented "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Emily Simpson. Kenya Moore of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" also wrote, "Praying for you," echoing the sentiments of many others.

In one of her Instagram Stories, Mellencamp shows Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade coming to hospital to check in on her before her surgery.

Mellencamp expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support she has received from her family, friends, and the medical team, saying in her statement, "I am so blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health."

The emergency surgery will involve removing two of the tumors, with the remaining smaller tumors to be treated via radiation.

This challenging news comes just two years after Mellencamp's diagnosis and battle with stage 2 melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer. Over the course of her struggle with melanoma, Mellencamp underwent 16 surgeries, highlighting the gravity of her health journey.

Just two months ago, she received a biopsy-free skin check. "It's the first time, and over two years, I've gone in for my three-month check and not had to have a biopsy," she emotionally said on Instagram.

Amid her latest health struggle, Mellencamp's marriage is on the rock. She filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave in November 2024, saying she made "the difficult decision" after "a great deal of care and consideration." This divorce filing was followed by rumors of her affair with married horse trainer.

Despite their ongoing divorce, the couple continue to spend time together, celebrating holidays and anniversary together.
