Rapper Snoop Dogg has finally responded to criticism and defended his decision to perform at a star-studded event honoring President Donald Trump earlier this month.

AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg has broken his silence on the public outrage following his performance at a pro-Donald Trump Crypto Ball event. Taking to Instagram Live, Snoop addressed his critics with a message of love and self-assurance.

"It's Sunday, man; I got gospel in my heart," he said. "For all that hate, I'm going to answer with love. Y'all can't hate enough on me. I love too much. Get your life right. Stop worrying about mine. I'm cool, I'm together. Still a Black man, still 100 percent Black."

Snoop's performance drew criticism because he had criticized Trump in the past and blasted fellow musicians who had agreed to perform for Trump in 2017. However, he remained unfazed by the backlash, emphasizing his right to make personal choices.

Other performers at the Trump event included Nelly, Soulja Boy, and Rick Ross. Nelly defended his decision, stating, "This is not about money... This is about standing up for what I believe in and taking an opportunity to engage in dialogue - not division."

Critics cited allegations of racism against Trump, but Nelly insisted, "If you're going to call someone a white supremacist, show me the proof. I'm not here to co-sign anyone's personal opinions or beliefs - I'm here to represent myself, my values, and my community."

Despite the criticism, Snoop Dogg received support from Stephen A. Smith, who suggested that Snoop's attendance was a business move. However, Snoop has also expressed admiration for Trump in recent years, praising him for pardoning Michael "Harry-O" Harris.
