The couple seated behind presenters Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford, and the actress filmed her husband glued to his phone when the two Marvel actors were announcing the Best Animated Motion Picture award. While Mackie and Ford spoke, Shepard had his head down, focusing intently on his phone, which was propped between his legs.
Bell jokingly captioned the video with "#priorities," adding a hashtag for the Detroit Lions and tagging Shepard. The "Armchair Expert" podcast host responded with a jest as he reposted the video on his own Instagram Story.
Dax Shepard accompanied Kristen Bell to the Golden Globes as she was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for her role in the Netflix rom-com "Nobody Wants This." However, the award ultimately went to Jean Smart for her performance in "Hacks."
