In a new episode of 'Armchair Expert' podcast, the 49-year-old star and Kristen Bell's household have found a unique way to help each other with grooming.

AceShowbiz - Dax Shepard shared his unique grooming duties with his daughter Lincoln. On the "Armchair Expert" podcast, Shepard, 49, revealed that his 11-year-old daughter offered to shave his back hair after he complained about it. Shepard, who shares Lincoln and 9-year-old Delta with Kristen Bell, accepted and was impressed by his daughter's skills.

"She shaved my whole back," Shepard said. "I collected it to throw it away, and I couldn't help but notice, this is the softest hair I've ever felt in my life."

After comparing the texture to cashmere, Shepard and Lincoln decided to start collecting the hair with the hope of having enough for a cashmere sweater when Shepard is older.

In the same episode, Shepard shared that he helps shave Lincoln's legs, explaining that he believes it's important to share responsibilities.

"She offered, and I shave her legs for her," Shepard said. "I think it is a dirty job. I would have never asked her to shave my back. But she offered."

Shepard also opened up about his wife Bell's mental health and how he helps her through her "slumps."

"She's gonna sleep a lot for a while, and then she's gonna come out of it," he said. "I will gently be like, 'Hey, love. Have you checked in with your psychiatrist lately?' "

Shepard explained that he used to try to "fix" Bell's sadness but has since learned that she needs space and rest. He encourages her to go for walks or hikes to promote movement.
