He expressed his deep appreciation for every nurse, doctor, and first responder who contributed to his recovery.
Renner also acknowledged his brave nephew and his neighbors, who assisted him during the chaotic aftermath of the accident and endured the harrowing experience with him. He thanked his family for their unwavering support and the prayers and love he received from fans around the world.
The actor recognized the "divine intervention, luck, and miracles" that played a role in his recovery. He emphasized that he emerged from the experience "more open, loved, connected, and blessed" than ever before.
On January 1, 2023, Renner was crushed by a 14,000-pound snow plow while attempting to protect his nephew from the machine. He sustained over 30 broken bones and life-threatening injuries.
Despite the severity of his injuries, Renner's recovery has been remarkable. He returned to filming the third season of "Mayor of Kingstown" and was cast in Rian Johnson's "Knives Out" sequel, "Wake Up Dead Man."
