AceShowbiz - Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, put aside their rocky past to support their children. Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, reunited on the golf course over the weekend, nearly 15 years after their scandalous divorce. Woods, 48, and their 15-year-old son, Charlie, played side-by-side in the PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida. After walking off the 18th green on Sunday, December 22, Nordegren was there waiting for her ex-husband and son. In a heart-warming moment captured by Golf on CBS, Nordegren hugged Tiger before turning her attention to Charlie and the couple's 17-year-old daughter, Sam, who acted as Tiger and Charlie's caddy for the weekend.
The reunion marked a clear break from the exes' tumultuous past, which included a cheating scandal that erupted in November 2009. Though Woods issued a televised apology for his infidelities in February 2010, the couple divorced later that year. However, in the years since, they have built a strong friendship and put the well-being of their children first.
During a 2015 interview with Time magazine, Woods reflected on the scandal, acknowledging that he wished he had been "more open and honest" with Nordegren. He also expressed gratitude for the close relationship he now has with his ex-wife, acknowledging that she is "one of [his] best friends."
Nordegren has since moved on with former NFL player Jordan Cameron, with whom she shares three children. Tiger, on the other hand, dated Erica Herman, a restaurant manager, from 2017 to 2022.
Despite their messy split, Woods and Nordegren have remained close, often photographed supporting Charlie's golf endeavors. Charlie's budding golf career is a source of great pride for his parents.
