Tallulah's engagement comes after her previous relationship with director Dillon Buss ended in June 2022. In an essay for Vogue in May 2023, she spoke about how Acee has been a source of support during her father, Bruce Willis' health issues, including frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

"Waking up laughing with my partner [musician Justin Acee] would be the best kind of day, which I will be honest happens a lot," she told PEOPLE.
