AceShowbiz - Amid the escalating feud between "It Ends With Us" co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni that has rocked the entertainment industry, journalist and author Liz Plank has announced her departure from "The Man Enough Podcast" which she co-hosted with Baldoni.
The accusations, which surfaced in a detailed complaint from Lively, allege that Baldoni, along with Wayfarer Studios CEO Jamey Heath, engaged in misconduct that created a toxic atmosphere on the set of their film.
According to Lively, she experienced "grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety" due to Baldoni's actions, which included unwanted intimate scenes.
Liz Plank, who co-hosted the podcast with Baldoni and Heath since its inception in 2021, disclosed her decision to leave the show shortly after Lively's complaint was filed. In an emotional statement shared on Instagram, Plank expressed her gratitude to fans.
"I'm writing to you today to let you know that I have had my representatives inform Wayfarer that I will no longer be co-hosting The Man Enough podcast. Thank you for trusting me with your hearts and stories, for holding space for mine, and for making this show what it was. I will miss you, the listeners, so much. I love what this community created together with every fiber of my being, and that's because of you."
Plank also emphasized her commitment to the values they had cultivated throughout the podcast's journey, promising to continue supporting those who call out injustice. "As this chapter closes for me, I remain committed to the values we've built together. Thank you for being here, for trusting me, and for being by my side for the last four years. We all deserve better, and I know that together, we can create it."
Blake Lively's accusations have sent shockwaves through the film's production team and the wider social media landscape. Included in her complaint were alleged texts and emails between Baldoni and his team that discussed strategies to "destroy" Lively's reputation. Lively has made it clear that her intent in going public is to expose these "sinister retaliatory tactics" and protect others who might face similar harassment.
With tensions high, Baldoni's lawyer called the allegations "false" and "intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt." Nonetheless, the implications of these claims continue to reverberate throughout Hollywood, with Liz Plank's departure from the podcast adding another layer to this unfolding saga.
The "Man Enough Podcast", known for its frank discussions on modern masculinity, has not released a new episode since October 28. As the community built around the podcast grapples with these revelations, supporters and followers are left asking what the future holds and how they can sustain the show's original mission of fostering open and honest conversations.
