Geri Halliwell-Horner, known as Ginger Spice from the Spice Girls, expressed her pride on Instagram, posting a photo of the couple from the palace. She applauded Horner's achievements at Red Bull Racing, calling him a "leader, an innovator, and a pathfinder."
The Horners dressed elegantly for the ceremony, with Geri opting for a white ensemble and Christian in a traditional morning suit.
Horner, 51, was recognized in King Charles' 2024 New Year Honours list. The honor is conferred by the sovereign to individuals for outstanding achievements.
Horner told reporters he was "humbled" by the recognition from the King, and they discussed Formula 1. He noted the King's interest in the season and races.
Despite controversies earlier in the year regarding inappropriate behavior allegations, which Horner denied and was later cleared of, the Horners have remained supportive of each other.
