AceShowbiz - Brandi Glanville has received help from Dr. Terry Dubrow amid her severe skin condition. According to the "Botched" star, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum may undergo surgery to repair her face.
On Monday, December 16, the 66-year-old plastic surgeon spilled his plans to help the 52-year-old former reality TV star. Speaking to TMZ, he said that he had a conversation with her over the phone.
During the chat, Brandi told Terry that "it's been a long brutal process trying to get a diagnosis for what's going on with her face." She also said that "doctors still haven't found the root issue" and "steroids, antibiotics and antiviral medication haven't helped."
According to the media outlet, Brandi, who "feels like she has 5 years left to look hot," and Terry are planning to meet in person later this month at his office in Los Angeles. He revealed that he "may need to obtain some of [her] facial tissue to come to the correct diagnosis ... and from there they can begin proper treatment."
The revelation came after Brandi made headlines for her severe skin condition. Earlier in December, she opened up about her condition, "What happened? I wish I knew I've been in & out of the hospital this passed year 1/2 spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Dr.'s say I have a parasite that jumps around my face. Some say it's stress induced edema." Later on, she candidly shared that she had lost 5 teeth from health issues.
Upon learning of Brandi's problem, Terry shared what he knew about the condition. He told TMZ on Thursday, December 12, "What I'm concerned about with Brandy is that she has an infectious process or a foreign body reaction to something she has had injected." He then stressed, "Brandi needs a diagnosis," noting that it "could take 6 to 12 months of antibiotics to treat."
Terry further warned, "And here's the problem, Brandy. She's like a ticking time bomb. Every minute that microorganism is allowed to stay in her skin and do potential damage. She could suffer worse for it. It could be more difficult to treat and she could form more scar and more nodules."
