Denzel Washington has reached out to 'Black Panther' director Ryan Coogler to apologize for prematurely revealing his involvement in the rumored third film.

AceShowbiz - Marvel is notorious for keeping details of their projects confidential, and Denzel Washington recently admitted his error in mentioning his role in the rumored "Black Panther 3" film.
During an interview with Variety's Awards Circuit Podcast, the award-winning actor revealed he had reached out to director Ryan Coogler to apologize for his blunder, "Ryan's a genius... I called him and apologized for talking about the movie."
Washington first announced Coogler's development of a role for him in "Black Panther 3" during his "Gladiator II" press tour in November. Despite Washington's disclosure, Disney has yet to officially confirm the film's existence.
In the interview, Washington praised Coogler's vision for the franchise, stating, "He's still Ryan, humble and full of ideas. Whatever he writes, I'll read."
Marvel has been facing creative challenges in developing a third "Black Panther" film without Chadwick Boseman, whose character T'Challa passed away in real life. Additionally, questions remain regarding Angela Bassett's character, Queen Ramonda, who was killed off in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever."
Despite these hurdles, the success of the first two "Black Panther" films, including multiple Academy Award wins and over $2 billion in box office revenue, suggests that a third installment is highly likely.
