AceShowbiz - ROSE has treated her fans to her new music. The BLACKPINK singer has launched an emotional song titled "toxic till the end" along with its accompanying music video that has 90s vibes.
On Friday, December 6, the 27-year-old New Zealand and South Korean singer released the song on various music streaming platforms. As for its official visuals, which features herself and actor/model Evan Mock, she published it via YouTube.
In the beginning of the 3-minute video, it can be seen that ROSE is driving a luxury car. At one point, she stops upon learning that Evan is standing on the side of the road and asking for help. He tells her that he is "lost" and doesn't know "where to go."
ROSE sings in the background, "Call us what we are, toxic from the start/ Can't pretend that I was in the dark/ When you met my friends, didn't even try with them/ I should've known right then/ That you were jealous and possessive/ So manipulatin'/ Honestly, impressive/ You had me participatin'."
The video goes on to show ROSE and Evan running around a park, apparently portraying the beginning of their romance. Both of them look happy, flashing their big smiles as they put on a loved-up display. They are later seen sharing a kiss inside a house.
The short clip also features a scene where ROSE plays chess with Evan. She notices him turning off his phone after getting a notification, seemingly trying to hide it from her. They get in a fight with her being abusive to him. Though so, they are then spotted sleeping together on one same bed.
"toxic till the end" serves as the third single from ROSE's debut studio album titled "rosie", which was dropped that same day. The newly-released record features 11 other songs, including "APT." that she created with Bruno Mars.
