AceShowbiz - It's suffice to say that Britney Spears loves Mexico so much. The singer appears to mean it when she recently announced her move to the country as she has been looking for a new pad during her holiday.

On Thursday, December 5, the pop icon made use of her Instagram page to express her feelings to be away from the United States. Along with a new dance video that saw her wearing a short silver dress with a sheer fabric on the chest area, she wrote in the caption, "I'm so blessed !!! I'm house hunting and this place is insanely beautiful !!! Thank you Jesus for a place so far away from America !!!"

Britney first announced her move to Mexico when addressing paparazzi photos that captured her at the airport. In the said images, she was seen holding a grill lighter while boarding a private jet on her birthday.

The star, who turned 43 years old on December 2, said in a video, "They've always been incredibly cruel to me - the paparazzi and pictures and the way they've illustrated me to be in some of it." She added, "I know I'm not perfect at all by any means, but some of it is extremely mean and cruel. That's why I've moved to Mexico."

The "Oops!... I Did It Again" also bizarrely claimed that she's 5 years old in a separate video posted on the same day. "It's my birthday," she said in the video. "I'm not turning 42. I'm turning 5 this year. I'm turning 5 years old, and I have to go to kindergarten tomorrow."

Despite her claim in the previous video, a source insisted that Britney does not actually move to Mexico. The source told PEOPLE magazine that she is simply on vacation to celebrate her birthday.
