AceShowbiz - Marvel Studios' "Thunderbolts" holds the prestigious May release date typically reserved for major blockbusters, but the movie reportedly still needs to undergo reshoot. The cast has yet to be spotted on set while director Jake Schreier has been seen in Atlanta on December 4.
Although details are still scarce, the reshoots is expected to include significant additions to the film.
David Harbour, who plays Red Guardian, previously praised the "very impressive" cut he has seen, highlighting the movie's focus on chemistry between the characters.
The "Thunderbolts" movie stars Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, among others. The film is produced by Kevin Feige and Scarlett Johansson.
"Thunderbolts" is an irreverent team-up featuring a group of misfits led by the depressed assassin Yelena Belova. The film will come out in 2025 alongside "Captain America: Brave New World" and "Fantastic Four: First Steps."
