AceShowbiz - Infidelity is said to be the reason behind Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter's split. Amid news that the two stars had broken up after dating for one year, the actor is accused of cheating on his then-girlfriend with an influencer.

Deuxmoi recently posted a blind item sent in from a source that described a breakup between a rising pop star and her "foreign actor boyfriend." While the source did not name the couple, all clues seemingly pointed toward Sabrina and Barry.

"It appears that this A-list singer who's having her breakout year and her foreign actor boyfriend are done for good," the blind item posted on Monday, December 2 read, before detailing what caused the split. "On the closing night of her biggest tour to date in LA, he was busy getting very cozy at San Vicente Bungalows with a blonde, semi-famous, LA based influencer (who's particularly big on tiktok)."

The source added, "I snooped around a bit out of curiosity and apparently he and his popstar girlfriend called it quits very suddenly less than a week before her final shows in LA after she found out he had been chatting with said influencer behind her back for months in a not-innocent-at-all way..."

The anonymous source claimed this wasn't just "chatting." They reportedly heard the influencer "had even gone to find him while he was filming in the U.K., eager to keep him company while his girlfriend was touring in the U.S." They added, "He had messed up before and she had forgiven him but nothing as serious and infidelity is where she draws the line."

According to the blind item, "The popstar wants to keep the situation under wraps at least until January because her next single is a steamy song inspired by their relationship and she's already filmed a music video with very obvious references to him..." However, "the influencer is running her mouth a lot and he isn't doing much to stop her..."

Later on Tuesday, Deuxmoi responded to a fan asking for confirmation about a claim by a TikTok user who said she saw Barry out in Beverly Hills with the influencer. "Idk about this influencer guys...break up seems real but cheating seems sus," the blog said. "So maybe they were already broken up when he was seen with this 'alleged' influencer."

News of Barry's alleged infidelity comes on the heels of reports about his split from Sabrina. A source told PEOPLE, "They are both young and career-focused, so they've decided to take a break." Neither of them has addressed the breakup rumors.
