AceShowbiz - The latest trailer for Disney's "Snow White" introduces a special surprise for fans: a brief preview of the new song "Waiting on a Wish." The song comes from the musical duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work on "Dear Evan Hansen," "La La Land," and "The Greatest Showman."
The trailer showcases the familiar elements of the classic Disney fairy tale: Snow White's search for a safe haven with the dwarves, the Evil Queen's wicked schemes, and the iconic poisoned apple. It also presents a significant twist: Snow White actively resists the Queen's tyranny, rallying the dwarves to her cause, and ended with the new music.
The film stars Rachel Zegler as Snow White, Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen, and Andrew Burnap as the Prince. Marc Webb directs the project, with a screenplay by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, the producers of "Wicked," are also involved.
"Snow White" is just one of many upcoming Disney live-action remakes. Other anticipated releases include "Lilo & Stitch," "Moana," and the "The Lion King" prequel "Mufasa."
