AceShowbiz - Nicole Eggert, 52, has been diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. In a recent Instagram video, Eggert revealed that she received unexpected "real tattoos" as part of her radiation mapping process.
"I'm gonna get through it," Eggert said in an emotional video. "The rest is gonna have to just be me working on myself and how I'm gonna get through it."
While the actress initially downplayed the tattoos as "minor," she admitted that they serve as a constant reminder of her battle with cancer. "There's just always going to be a constant reminder," she said.
Eggert also shared her concerns about the potential damage radiation can cause to her body, noting that her father's brain function was significantly impaired after undergoing radiation treatment.
Despite the emotional challenges, Eggert remains hopeful. She has recently shaved her head and is in a "gray area" as she awaits further treatment and imaging.
"The gray area is the hardest because you don't know what's happening," she said. "But I am good. I am waiting for more imaging and hopefully maybe surgery."
Eggert's former "Baywatch" cast members, including Carmen Electra, Jeremy Jackson and David Chokachi, have shown their support for her during her cancer battle.
