The wife of English former soccer player Wayne Rooney recalls her meeting with the president elect at the White House during his first term, revealing Trump's comment that got her offended.

AceShowbiz - Coleen Rooney has slammed "dirty" Donald Trump over his comment on WAGs. The wife of English former professional soccer player Wayne Rooney has apparently silently cursed the 45th POTUS during their meeting a few years ago.
In Sunday, November 24 episode of "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!", Rooney recalled meeting the then-president at the White House during his first term. "When we lived in America, we were invited to the White House for Christmas, and we went in to meet Donald Trump," she said. "And we walked in and we got to get the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree."
Rooney, who visited the White House with her family in 2018, continued, "So Donald Trump said to his son, 'See? Told ya, all the soccer players get the good looking girls.' And I told my mom, I was like 'dirty bastard.' "
Rooney also claimed that Trump was keen for her husband to take his young son Barron under the soccer manager's wing. "He wanted Wayne to go over to teach his son to play football," she revealed.
Following Rooney's shocking claims about Trump, McFly star Danny Jones had one burning question to ask the WAG about her visit to see Trump. He asked, "Is he that orange?" to which she confirmed, "He was very orange!"
Rooney and her family moved to Washington D.C. after her husband signed a deal to play for D.C. United. The former Manchester United player returned to England after only one year in the U.S., agreeing to serve as a player-coach with EFL Championship side Derby County in January 2020. In January 2021, he retired from playing and is currently the manager of EFL Championship club the Plymouth Argyle on a three-year contract.
