AceShowbiz - Katt Williams is setting the records straight. In a new interview, the comedian discussed his bombshell remarks about Sean "P. Diddy" Combs that he made in his viral episode of Shannon Sharpe's "Club Shay Shay" earlier this year.
In the January episode, which has racked up a staggering 83 million views, Katt claimed that "all of these deviants are catching hell in 2024." He said at the time, "P Diddy be wanting to party, and you've got to tell him no. I did. I got the receipts."
After the comments sparked chatter when Diddy was arrested for sex racketeering charges in September, Katt elaborated his remarks in a new interview with GQ. "When I was young, Tupac was my favorite artist," he said, referring to late rapper Tupac Shakur. "I loved Tupac, and I felt like we were kindred spirits."
"So if I hear you were responsible for knocking my n***a off…" Williams trailed off, referencing long-standing rumors that Diddy has something to do with Tupac's death. "I don't care what job I end up in or how things go. If I find a way to get you, that's what I'm about. I just don't like you walking around scot-free."
Calling the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper "a demon," Katt continued, "I know demons are powerful, but I also know why they're powerful. There's cold spiritual warfare going on out here, and part of my job is to stay focused on that."
Meanwhile, it seems like Katt will spill more tea on "Club Shay Shay". Earlier this week, Shannon appeared to tease a second interview featuring the comedian. "There's a possibility that you might hear the haymakers very very soon," the retired athlete said in a recent episode of "Nightcap".
"2025 is about to be another f**ked up year. SMH," an X user wrote in response to the news. "Shannon thirsty for the drama lol," another commented, while someone added, "just bring him back so he can close the damn portal." One fan even demanded Shannon to make an episode with Katt "an annual tradition."
