AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj seemingly has put smiles on her devotees' faces. The "Super Freaky Girl" hitmaker surprised her fans, who are famously known as Barbz, with four new songs to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "The Pinkprint".
On Friday, November 22, the 41-year-old female hip-hop artist launched the four never-before-heard tracks on various music streaming platforms. The songs, which she created with fellow artists, are featured in "The Pinkprint (Tenth Anniversary Edition)".
One of the songs is titled "Arctic Tundra", which quickly became a trend on X, formerly known as Twitter. For the track, she joined forces with Juice WRLD. In the beginning of the song, she raps, "Bad b***hes run the world, let me make it clear/ When I leave Juice WRLD, I'm back to pink hair."
The rapper joins in, "Haha, Max Lord preach it, haha/ Gezin/ I f**k the blunt up, haha/ Yeah, I'm on marijuana (Marijuana)/ My lean plug say he'll be here in a second (Pull up)/ I'm getting high, I'm feelin' restless (I'm sad)/ Feel like I'm finna die (R.I.P.)."
Another song that Nicki dropped in celebration of the 10th anniversary is "Turn Yo Cap Back", which features Swae Lee. He opens the track by singing, "Wanna take it slow, but you know I had time out/ Yeah/ Coffee and herb/ Co-coffee and herb/ Coffee and herb."
Nicki then spits, "Ayo, I been bad, Affleck/ When I'm on the track, it get abstract/ Got you b***hes looking like a flash back/ When I bust shots, duck, thots, that's that (Quack, quack)/ Itty bitty bitty back, hit the act, hit the act/ If he play the cards right, Pitty Pat, kitty cat/ If he ain't about the bag, G-E-T rid of that."
Aside from "Arctic Tundra" and "Turn Yo Cap Back", Nicki includes a new song titled "If It's Okay" in the new edition of the 2014 album. On the particular track, she features David Guetta and Davido. In addition, she unveils "Remember Me" that she created with Parker Ighile.
It did not take long for social media users to share their comments on the songs. One in particular gushed, "This is the type of Nicki song that made me love her. I love all the 4 releases! Such a breath of fresh air." Another chimed in, "Mind you, these are songs from the VAULT! Queen for a reason!"
