AceShowbiz - The 2024 Country Music Association Awards enraged its viewers after announcing the winners. The 58th annual award-giving show was called out by many social media users over Shaboozey's loss.

On Wednesday night, November 20, the show became a hot topic on X, formerly known as Twitter. While many social media users were discussing the winners, some of them expressed their anger upon learning that the country music star did not win any awards.

One in particular accused the event of being racist, writing, "lol Shaboozey not winning any award he was nominated for at the CMAs despite having the #1 country song in the country for months is wild. them white folks made it loud and clear how much they don't want black artists in country even though the genre is ours."

Similarly, another chimed in, "Damn!!! I came back to Shaboozey losing all his CMA nominations despite having the longest #1 single in the country this decade! @CountryMusic when does the racism end in your organization! It's stink now!"

A third penned, "Shaboozey lost every CMA award he was nominated for. They played in his face, but I'm not surprised. This is why (Beyonce Knowles) didn't pay them any mind after they mistreated her, too."

A fourth added, "#Shaboozey SINGLE OF THE YEAR!!!! U were robbed!!!!!! Cuz how the fuqq u have theeeeeeeee longest running solo song ever and u not get single of the year???? #CMA #CountryMusicAwards."

The protests came shortly after the CMAs 2024 revealed the winners, including Chris Stapleton who won big that night. Shaboozey, whose single titled "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" became the second-longest-running Hot 100 No. 1 ever as it spent its 18th week atop the chart, was nominated for New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for the successful track.

Unfortunately, Shaboozey did not win any of the prizes. While New Artist of the Year went to Megan Moroney, the Single of the Year award was given to Chris for his 2023 song titled "White Horse".
