AceShowbiz - Mike Tyson has found a supporter in The Game. While many criticized Mike following his loss to Jake Paul in their much-hyped boxing match, the rapper made use of his social media accounts to praise the boxing legend.
"I see all these weird celebrities n!%%as saying Mike looked bad, this was sad & disgusting etc… yall goofy," the Los Angeles spitter wrote on X. "I saw a 58 year old legend go 8 rounds with a 27 year old in front of the world in a sold out football stadium n walk away with 20 million dollars."
Further gushing over Mike, the "California Vacation" rapper added in his tweet, "his dignity & yet another achievement he said was only for HIM. I'm proud of you champ !!!!"
Not stopping there, the hip-hop star posted a screenshot of his own tweet on his Instagram account. He doubled down on his praise for Mike in the caption, which read, "@MikeTyson you were my hero as a child & nothing has changed since then for me !!!!! Thank you for your contribution to the culture then & now."
The Game's comments came after Mike was defeated in the highly-anticipated match against Jake on Friday, November 15 at Dallas' AT&T Arena. Prior to the game, violence erupted between the two with Mike being seen slapping his opponent in a viral video.
Of the heated moment, Mike explained to The New York Post, "I was in my socks and he had on shoes," referring to the YouTuber-turned-boxer. "He stepped on my toe because he is a f**king a**hole. I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it may have happened on purpose."
