The 'Snow White' star has apologized for comments made on social media expressing frustration and anger over the potential outcome of the 2024 election, including a vulgar statement about Donald Trump.

AceShowbiz - Rachel Zegler has issued an apology for inflammatory posts shared on Instagram last week regarding the 2024 election results. In a message on her Instagram Story, Zegler expressed regret for her words.
"I would like to sincerely apologize for the posts I shared last week," Zegler wrote. "I let my emotions get the best of me."
"Hatred and anger have caused us to move further and further away from peace and understanding, and I am sorry I contributed to the negative discourse," she admitted. Zegler closed by saying, "This week has been emotional for so many of us, but I firmly believe that everyone has the right to their opinion, even when it differs from my own. I am committed to contributing positively toward a better tomorrow."
Zegler's original posts included expressions of fear and frustration about the possibility of a second Donald Trump term. She also endorsed leaving Twitter due to Elon Musk's support of Trump and stated, "May Trump supporters... never know peace."
The posts ignited controversy, particularly among conservatives. Megyn Kelly condemned Zegler's language and suggested she be removed from the upcoming remake of "Snow White". Kelly also drew comparisons to the firing of Gina Carano from "The Mandalorian" for making controversial statements.
Zegler has since apologized for her remarks, emphasizing her belief in everyone's right to an opinion. She stated her commitment to contributing positively to a better future.
Despite the backlash, Zegler is continuing her Broadway debut in "Romeo + Juliet" and has upcoming projects including "Y2K" and "Spellbound".
