Lucas Bravo's blunt remarks about the hit Netflix series 'Emily in Paris' have reportedly created tension within the cast, which includes Lily Collins.

AceShowbiz - Lucas Bravo, who plays chef Gabriel on "Emily in Paris, raised eyebrows last month when he told French outlet Le Figaro that the show does not "stimulate" him and that he was considering leaving. His comments drew criticism from his castmates, with an insider telling Us Weekly that "everyone is so upset about the remarks he made."

The source also noted that there would be "a lot of tension" if Bravo returned for season 5, but insisted that "the show will go on with or without Lucas."

Bravo has since doubled down on his criticisms, telling IndieWire that his character has been "slowly turned into guacamole" and that he has "grown apart" from him season after season. He also expressed frustration with the lack of creative freedom on set and the show's reliance on predictable plot lines.

"I would like him to find a little panache again," Bravo said of his character. "I’m not going to lie, I’ve been frustrated with the direction my character is taking."

Despite his criticisms, Bravo insists he still loves the show and the people involved in it. "I feel like I am not being nice or grateful, but when you love something you want it to be...you want the best version of it," he said.

The "Emily in Paris" series, created by Darren Star, has been a massive success since its premiere in 2020. It stars Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, an American marketing executive who moves to Paris for work. The series also features Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, Camille Razat, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and others.
