AceShowbiz - Rapper Nelly and singer Kelly Rowland surprised attendees at the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday, November 9, with an impromptu performance of their 2002 hit single "Dilemma."
Nelly, 50, and Rowland, 43, took the stage together amidst cheers and applause from the audience, as captured in videos shared by attendees Jenna Dewan and Chrissy Teigen.
"Since I have an angel up here...we work some magic," Nelly said as he joined the former Destiny's Child singer on the stage.
Nelly and Rowland released "Dilemma" in June 2002, and it soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks. The music video for the song has since garnered over 1 billion views on YouTube.
The Baby2Baby Gala, presented by Paul Mitchell, featured a star-studded guest list including Ashanti who welcomed a child with Nelly in July, honoree Charlize Theron, Miranda Kerr, Jessica Alba, Katy Perry, Heidi Klum, Ciara, Jennifer Garner, Ashley Graham, Nicole Richie, Anna Kendrick, Paris Hilton, and more.
Theron was awarded the Giving Tree Award for her work in preventing gender-based violence, promoting LGBTQ+ rights, and supporting youth development.
