Andy Stewart and Shyla Nelson Stewart have taken to Facebook to criticize the documentary, stating that Andy experienced a "painful and abusive marriage" with Martha. They claim that Martha has not "moved on" and is "publicly relitigating the marriage." Andy Stewart believes Martha is "stalking" him by putting a renewed spotlight on their relationship.

The couple emphasizes their happiness in their current marriage and wish Martha well, hoping that she will "move on" and "find a man" as Andy did.

Sources close to Andy Stewart say he is "furious" about Martha's candid revelations, which he considers an invasion of privacy. The couple had not communicated in 20 years prior to the release of the documentary.

Martha Stewart's sister-in-law, Diane Stewart Love, believes that Martha still has affection for Andy and has not "let go" of the relationship.
