The 'In Your Hands' singer, who is experiencing 'severe postpartum' following the birth of her son, says she's 'extremely upset' at her ex for allowing the child to appear on the livestream without prior notice.

AceShowbiz - Halle Bailey and DDG are seemingly not on the same page about how to raise their child. The former couple, who has been co-parenting their son Halo, are likely to be at odds with each other following their son Halo's appearance on Kai Cenat's livestream.

On Wednesday, November 6, the YouTuber brought his 10-month-old child to Kai's stream. Halle was clearly not happy, taking to X, formerly Twitter, to express her disapproval at their child's appearance on the show without her consent.

"hi everyone. just so you know i am out of town and i don't approve of my baby being on a stream tonight," she wrote on Wednesday night. She said she's "extremely upset" by DDG's decision, adding, "i wasn't told or notified and i am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. i am his mother and protector and saddened that i wasn't notified especially when i am out of town."

In another tweet, the singer/actress revealed that she's experiencing "severe postpartum" after giving birth to her child and warned that she might "snap." She shared, "As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected. Nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap."

Halle and DDG welcomed their first child in December 2023. Less than 10 months later, in October, the rapper announced that he and his baby mama had called it quits after almost three years of dating, but would continue to raise their child together.

"After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it's the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we've spent together and the love we've shared," DDG posted on his Instagram story.

He reiterated, "We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we've built and the beautiful moments we've shared."

Often showing his moments together with his son on social media, the 27-year-old has received numerous criticisms over his parenting skills. Recently, he clapped back at accusation that he used his son for fame. "I never understood this narrative when my son can't even talk yet. He's 'famous' rn because of his parents. If ur dad posted you when u were young, no one would care lol," he responded to the critic's comment on X earlier this month.
