AceShowbiz - Liam Payne's funeral may "take place next week" in the United Kingdom. According to a new report, the singer's body is set to be flown from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he died, to the United Kingdom "in the next 48 hours."

Liam's body arrived at the British cemetery in the city two days after he died as authorities investigated his death. Argentinian daily La Nacion reports that the One Direction star is expected to arrive in the U.K. within 48 hours, on Wednesday, November 6, with all the paperwork now completed. The report noted that Liam's funeral will be held in St Paul's Cathedral in Wolverhampton at the latest.

The new report arrived after newly released security footage captured Liam's fatal fall on October 16. The video reportedly shows the late musician losing consciousness just before the incident, suggesting he was unconscious when he fell from the balcony of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

Argentine journalist Paula Varela explained on "Socios del Espectaculo" that the CCTV footage supports the preliminary findings from Liam's autopsy. The autopsy suggested that Liam "may have fallen in a state of semi or total unconsciousness" as the position of his body and the nature of his injuries indicated that he did not attempt to protect himself during the fall.

That aside, Liam's unreleased song "Do No More" was postponed amid concern regarding his family. His music producer Sam Pounds explained in a statement last week, "Today I'm deciding to hold 'Do No Wrong' and leave those liberties up to all family members. I want all proceeds go to a charity of their choosing (or however they desire)."

He further noted, "Even though we all love the song it's not the time yet. We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to mourn in peace and in prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds."

Prior to this, Sam revealed that the song, which was described as a tribute to the late singer's spirit, was set for a November 1 release. "I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed. I pray angels will comfort you all every day while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to Ruth, Bear, and the entire family," he shared.

He concluded, "I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you."
