The One Direction member's producer Sam Pounds initially revealed a plan to release the song on November 1, weeks after the singer passed away from falling from a third floor at an Argentina hotel.

AceShowbiz - Fans of Liam Payne won't be able to listen to the late singer's unreleased song "Do No More" anytime soon. The song was initially set to be released on Friday, November 1, but his producer Sam Pounds revealed in a new statement that they're postponing the release.

"Today I'm deciding to hold 'Do No Wrong' and leave those liberties up to all family members," Sam wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday. "I want all proceeds go to a charity of their choosing (or however they desire)."

He further noted, "Even though we all love the song it's not the time yet. We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to mourn in peace and in prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds."

Fans praised Sam for his decision to pull the single. "Thank you Sam.....for holding off on it. There will be a right time for it in the future....for now we mourn," a fan replied to his tweet.

"Thank you for respecting the family's wishes; It's the right thing to do ! Thank you; Thank you, for giving everyone time to mourn and for leaving the decision up to Liam's family," another praised. Someone else similarly wrote, "thank you Sam… yes, we're still crying but we're always here ready for Liam's music when the time is right; Thank you for respecting the family's decision. Hopefully it will see the day of light in better timing."

Prior to this, Sam described the song as a tribute to the late singer's spirit, hoping that it will be received as a gift by family and friends following his sudden death on October 16. "I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed. I pray angels will comfort you all every day while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to Ruth, Bear, and the entire family," he explained.

He concluded, "I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you."

The music producer additionally shared on Instagram a never-before-seen video of Liam and him listening to a little portion of the song. "Yea I see the reports but I knew your heart. Filmed by @roo0990. @liampayne originally wanted us & @chrisbrownofficial on this. A musical moment & tribute to @liampayne." he wrote in the caption.
