AceShowbiz - Ezra Sosa absolutely isn't planning to distance himself from Anna Delvey despite backlash. The professional dancer of "Dancing with the Stars" channeled his dancing partner in season 33 of the show for this year's Halloween.

In a TikTok video shared on Thursday, October 31, the performer dressed up as the convicted con artist. He donned a gold fringe dress similar to the one that Anna wore on the ABC dancing competition series that she paired with a long brown wig.

He additionally rocked black heels and oversized sunglasses. He completed his transformation with a bejeweled ankle monitor. In the clip, he hilariously lip-synced to Anna's controversial interview answer after they were eliminated in September.

In the viral episode, co-host Julianne Hough asked Anna, "What are you going to take away from this competition?" To that, she quickly answered, "Nothing."

The answer unsurprisingly landed Anna in hot water with "Dancing with the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba among the critics. "I was taken aback by her comment when asked what she learned from being on the show, and she flatly said, 'Nothing,' " the professional dancer told Entertainment Weekly.

"That was dismissive not only of the opportunity she was given, of her wonderful and supportive partner Ezra [Sosa] in his debut season," she continued, "but also of all of us who work on the show - from the dancers to behind the scenes to the creative team."

Carrie Ann suggested that Anna, who competed in season 33 of the long-running show with an ankle bracelet, should be grateful for the opportunity given to her. "We all put in the effort to give her a fair opportunity. But I don't think she could see that and it's a shame," Carrie Ann noted, adding that some "gratitude could have changed the narrative."

Anna, meanwhile, seemed to be unbothered by the backlash. Defending herself, she said in an interview with PEOPLE, "Well, [DWTS] approached my team and I had to request ICE for permission to travel out of state because its being filmed in Los Angeles and I'm based in New York. It took them about 10 days to get it through the system and to get everything approved."

"By the time I got the approval, it was very close to the starting day so I kind of flew to LA pretty much the next day and I just decided why not?" Anna further noted. Of the criticism, she added, "It's just not that serious. If someone is that upset about casting on a dancing show, I don't know what to tell them."
