The 'Beetlejuice' singer gets emotional as she delivers her prayer onstage just hours after her longtime boyfriend accepted a plea deal in RICO case that resulted in a lenient sentence.

AceShowbiz - Mariah The Scientist's feelings came rushing at her latest show following Young Thug's release. The R&B artist was visibly emotional as she delivered a prayer onstage on Thursday, October 31.

In a video that went viral, the 27-year-old shared her prayer before starting her performance. She choked back in tears as she expressed her gratitude to God for her friends, family and Thugger, whom she addressed as Jeffery.

"I want to thank Him for our family and friends. I want to thank Him for Jeffery and our relationship," she said solemnly, while the audience cheered her on. She held back her tears as she admitted that this "has been really hard," but she appreciated those who have been "showing up" and "supporting" her all this time.

Mariah, whose real name is Mariah Amani Buckles, took the stage just hours after her boyfriend Thug accepted his sentence in the YSL RICO case. Earlier Thursday, he pleaded no contest to two counts, conspiracy to violate Georgia's Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and participation in criminal street gang activity. He pleaded guilty to six other counts related to drug possession and firearm violations.

The 33-year-old was sentenced to 40 years, with five years in prison. Judge Paige Whitaker also commuted the sentence to time served and 15 years' probation, allowing the rapper to be released from custody later Thursday.

In a statement to WSBTV, Mariah said of Thug's release, "Thank you God, thank you God. This is more than what we prayed for. We are so grateful, this is the greatest opportunity we've ever been presented with and we are so grateful," she wrote.

She continued, "Thank you Judge Paige Whitaker for giving us the opportunity to move forward with our life! Thank you God. Thank you Brian Steel and Keith Adams and every attorney working on this case, tireless. THANK YOU! I cannot say it enough, I cannot repay you for this. You have changed our lives, Jeffrey's life and mine."

Others like Travis Scott (II), Metro Boomin, Sexyy Red and T.I. have also celebrated Thugger's release. The "Stoner" emcee has not publicly addressed his sentence, but his lawyer Brian Stell said outside the court that his client is "happy" to be home.
