AceShowbiz - The drama between GloRilla and Atlanta-based makeup artist Angelica White continues. The makeup artist took to her Instagram account to clap back at the "F.N.F." raptress, who called her out for posting an old makeup video featuring the musician.
"I'm in shock to even hear her say, 'why am I proud?' Like be forreal, you were my first celebrity client, like anybody would've been proud," Angelica said in her video shared on Sunday, October 20. "I'm sure when you got signed you were proud to. Like, you had time to perfect your craft just like me."
Angelica additionally showed another video of Glo trashing her makeup look despite her friend liking it. "As you can hear in the video, her friend said it looked nice, and so have other comments," Angelica noted. "So, for her to drag me is just insane."
She then criticized Glo for calling her makeup "ugly" when the latter booked her two more times after the first they worked together. "And honestly, if it was that ugly, I don't understand why you would allow me to do your makeup two more times after that. Every time I worked with her, she always had a different stylist…so if you just genuinely didn't like the makeup, you could have got a new makeup artist," the MUA added.
Angelica's posts came after Glo addressed the viral clip during an Instagram Live session. "Tell them stop playing with me, going off that ugly a** m***a f**king makeup video. Acting like I don't show my bare face every day. Wassup? You see me!" the "TGIF" raptress said.
"Uploading that s**t when I look mad in the video. Why are you proud of this? Take it down," the femcee continued. "Keep doing your job, but you know you wasn't supposed to upload that old a**, ugly a** video. You know them eyebrows were doing the one, two step, b***h. I ain't mean to call you out your name…cause she actually a cool person, but just don't be do no s**t like that."
Fans, on the other hand, had mixed responses to the whole thing. Defending the MUA, one said. "Awww sounds like makeup artist was genuinely hurt." Another asked, "The makeup artist ain't said nothing wrong either. I'm confused why she getting so much hate? Lol!"
Someone suggested that "Glo could've inboxed her instead of making a public Video." The user continued, "Simply said 'hey could you take that video down I'm not feeling how I look in it etc' instead of publicly shaming her. That hurt that girl feelings smh damn Glo."
One user took a neutral stance, writing, "I understand the frustration on both ends. Glorilla is constantly being picked on for her unique features which turned out to be the case when the makeup artist posted her. The artist just wanted to show off her work not realizing it was a vulnerable video of Glo."
Another person, meanwhile, defended Glo as saying, "She didn't like being posted looking a mess. Come on ladies don't act like we don't know what she meant. Some pictures or videos just don't look good at times and shouldn't be posted no matter what the end result is. The video look bad and that's what I think she mean."
