Stars Matt Smith, Tom Glynn-Carney and Fabian Frankel reveal they have minimal information about theupcoming third season of the 'Game of Thrones' prequel.

AceShowbiz - During a panel at New York Comic Con, "House of the Dragon" cast members Matt Smith (Daemon Targaryen), Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon II Targaryen) and Fabian Frankel (Criston Cole) admitted to having varying levels of knowledge about the show's future.
"Not a jot, not a letter," said Glynn-Carney when asked if they had seen any scripts for season 3. "The longer they take, the longer we don't have to read anything for a while."
Smith added, "I've not heard hide nor hair. I don't know about you guys. I've not heard a thing." Frankel teased, "I've heard some things that I couldn't possibly share here."
No production start date has been announced for season 3, and HBO has yet to provide a premiere window. The wait between seasons 1 and 2 spanned from October 2022 to June 2024, and season 2 completed filming in the summer of 2023.
Meanwhile, HBO is currently promoting its latest "Game of Thrones" spin-off, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms", slated for debut in 2025.
These admissions come after "Game of Thrones" creator George R.R. Martin expressed concerns on his blog about changes made to his story in season 2 of "House of the Dragon". Martin stated that "larger and more toxic butterflies" were coming in future seasons if certain contemplated changes were implemented.
However, an HBO spokesperson emphasized the "House of the Dragon" creative team's admiration for Martin's work and acknowledged the challenges of adapting a book to the screen. They expressed confidence in showrunner Ryan Condal's abilities and the enjoyment fans will continue to experience with the series.
