If a new report is to be believed, Rande Gerber and his wife Cindy Crawford think that their 23-year-old model/actress daughter is wasting the "best years of her life" with the actor.

Cindy and Rande allegedly are concerned by the lack of progress in the young couple's 3-year relationship. It is said that Kaia's parents recently asked the "Elvis" star why he still hasn't proposed to their daughter in a serious sit-down.

"Rande and Cindy both love Austin and think of him as family, but the fact is he isn't," a source close to the couple tells Daily Mail. "After dating their daughter Kaia for over three years he's shown no sign of asking her to get engaged."

The insider adds, "They don't think for a minute he isn't serious about her, but he's 33 and isn't it time he thought about settling down?"

According to the source, Austin managed to assure "Rande his intentions are only honorable and he needs a little more time." The "Dune: Part Two" actor also "pointed out to Rande that Kaia is only 23," though "Rande gently shot back with the fact that these are the best years of her life."

Kaia and Justin first sparked dating rumors in December 2021, just one month after the former called it quits with Jacob Elordi. They later went public with their romance when they made an appearance at the red carpet at W Magazine's pre-Oscars party in March 2022.

Kaia revealed that she would prefer to have their romance in private. Of their relationship, Kaia said in a February interview with WSJ, "Honestly, I feel like so few things in my life are private, and that is one of the things that I try to keep as sacred as possible."
