Former 'American Idol' judge Paula Abdul is recovering after going under the knife following a series of injuries that forced her to cancel her Straight Up! To Canada tour.

AceShowbiz - Paula Abdul, 62, is currently "recovering well" following multiple injuries that led to the cancellation of her highly anticipated tour. She has already undergone one procedure and has one more remaining.

"I'm recovering well," Abdul told UsWeekly. "I have already had one procedure done. I have one more to go, but I'm guaranteed eight weeks I'll be Humpty Dumpty back together again."

Abdul remains optimistic about returning to touring in the future. "I had the best time just coming off this tour and there's still the rest of the world to see and to be able to perform in front of," she said.

The tour cancellation came after Abdul concluded a demanding stint as the opening act for New Kids on the Block's "The Magic Summer 2024 Tour." She performed in 42 concerts alongside the beloved 90s boy band.

Abdul previously announced the cancellation in September via social media, stating that she had sustained injuries that required surgery with a 6-8 week recovery time. The canceled tour included 21 dates in Canada, Alaska, and North Dakota.

Despite the setback, Abdul expressed her gratitude towards her fans. "I want to extend my deepest apologies to all my amazing fans in Canada and the US, you mean the world to me and this truly breaks my heart," she wrote. "I promise I'll be back, stronger and better, dancing my heart out and performing for all of you very soon, to give you the show you deserve."
