The tour was set to feature Taylor Dayne and Tiffany as opening acts. Abdul shared the news on social media, expressing her regret and deep sadness.
The 62-year-old singer, who is known for hits like "Straight Up" and "Rush Rush", underwent multiple consultations with her doctors before making the decision to cancel the tour. She received injections to provide temporary relief but was advised that a minor procedure with a 6-8 week recovery time is necessary.
Abdul did not disclose the nature of her injuries but apologized profusely to her fans in Canada and the U.S. She vowed to return stronger and better, giving fans the show they deserve.
