Pop star Sabrina Carpenter's sixth studio album, 'Short n' Sweet', has returned to the top of the Billboard 200 chart, securing its fourth nonconsecutive week at No. 1.

AceShowbiz - After debuting at No. 1 in September, Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" has once again reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart dated October 12, 2024. The album had previously spent three weeks at No. 1 before dropping to Nos. 2 and 3 in the previous two weeks.

Boosted by the success of the Billboard Hot 100-topping single "Please Please Please" and fellow top 10 hits "Espresso" and "Taste," "Short n' Sweet" is Carpenter's most commercially successful album to date. It's her first LP to ever reach the top 10, let alone No. 1, on the Billboard 200.

Celebrating her achievement, Carpenter shared five quaking emojis on her Instagram Story, expressing her gratitude and excitement for the feat. The album's return to the top follows 100,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending October 3.

"Short n' Sweet" has also been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, indicating over 1 million units sold or streamed. Carpenter is currently supporting the album on her first-ever arena trek, which began on September 23.

In other news related to the Billboard 200 chart, Billie Eilish's "Hit Me Hard and Soft" has re-entered the top five at No. 5, while Chappell Roan's "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" remains steady at No. 2, and Future's "Mixtape Pluto" falls to No. 3.
