AceShowbiz - After debuting at No. 1 in September, Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" has once again reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart dated October 12, 2024. The album had previously spent three weeks at No. 1 before dropping to Nos. 2 and 3 in the previous two weeks.
Boosted by the success of the Billboard Hot 100-topping single "Please Please Please" and fellow top 10 hits "Espresso" and "Taste," "Short n' Sweet" is Carpenter's most commercially successful album to date. It's her first LP to ever reach the top 10, let alone No. 1, on the Billboard 200.
Celebrating her achievement, Carpenter shared five quaking emojis on her Instagram Story, expressing her gratitude and excitement for the feat. The album's return to the top follows 100,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending October 3.
"Short n' Sweet" has also been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, indicating over 1 million units sold or streamed. Carpenter is currently supporting the album on her first-ever arena trek, which began on September 23.
