AceShowbiz - BLACKPINK's Jennie is gearing up for her highly anticipated solo comeback with the release of a new single titled "Mantra". The K-pop idol has been teasing her new music for days, sparking significant excitement among fans.
On September 29 and 30, Jennie shared two new teaser images that unveiled tattoos on her waist and shin featuring the mantra "Pretty Girl Mantra." She previously teased six empowering mantras for confident women: they are driven, practice self-love, show compassion for animals, avoid unnecessary drama, prioritize good sleep, and treat themselves with care.
Jennie's teasers have hinted at the upcoming release being titled "Mantra" or "RUBYRED". Earlier this month, she announced her partnership with Columbia Records and the launch of her own label, OA.
Jennie launched her solo career with "Solo" in 2019 and released "You & Me" in 2023. She has also collaborated with The Weeknd and Lily Rose Depp on "One Of Your Girls".
While BLACKPINK plans to reunite for new music in 2025, fans are eagerly awaiting Jennie's first solo album release to witness her continued success as a solo artist.
