But Pink dispelled the rumors with a straightforward Instagram post on September 26, showing that she actually made the decision to delete her tweets in February, months before Diddy was arrested. She showed the receipt by sharing a screenshot of a February 6 post on her X account. The post said, "This account will self destruct in two minutes. Do it!!!!!!"

She additionally commented on her Instagram, "I don't know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!!" She further clarified, "There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I've met people in passing, I'm not associated with any of the people mentioned," conclusively addressing any supposed links to Combs.

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, originally chose to leave X due to the platform's deteriorating environment. "I've had so many beautiful experiences on Twitter and made so many wonderful connections that I would never have had otherwise. But that's not what Twitter is anymore...," she expressed in February.
