AceShowbiz - Jaylen Brown has labeled one of Ice Spice's songs as "the worst song of all time." After publicly sharing his opinions on "Think U the S**t (Fart)", the NBA star was praised by social media users.
Recently, the 27-year-old professional basketball player had a sit-down with A$AP Ferg. In the Wednesday, September 25 episode of the "GOAT Talk" show, he received a question from Ferg about "the worst song of all time."
In response, Jaylen said, "I'm not gonna say it because they're gonna think I'm hating." Ferg then encouraged the athlete, "Say it. It's an opinion." Jaylen went on to reply, "First thing that came to mind was the Ice Spice joint. I'm not even a fart, you thought I was the s**t. I'm not even the s**t."
Ferg asked, "Oh why you not jacking that? It don't sound good coming from a woman you feel like?" Jaylen denied, "Nah." Ferg added, "Because women is people too. They can fart and s**t." Jaylen further replied, "Nah, see," prompting Ferg to burst into laughter.
A short video from the show episode made its rounds on Instagram, prompting social media users to voice their thoughts on Jaylen's opinion. One in particular praised him, "Finally, someone with sense. Why would anyone think that song was ever good?" Similarly, another chimed in, "I'm just happy he recognises bad songs!" Meanwhile, a third argued, "Every Ice Spice song is the worst song of all time."
Jaylen was not the only famous figure who publicly criticized Ice's controversial track, which was launched in January. A few days after the song was dropped, TV presenter Candace Owens candidly shared her view on the single in the January 31 episode of "Candace Owens Podcast".
The activist said, "Now I think we can all admit that we've fallen as a society. I mean I wouldn't say that that was Mozart or Beethoven but I'm not all of these mainstream media publications that routinely rush to defend this kind of music." She added, "I just want to live in a society where we can all acknowledge that a song that's entitled 'Think You the S**t (Fart)' is in fact itself a s**t fart."
