AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz has broken his silence on a recent arrest warrant against him. After making headlines for being wanted by Texas police, the "Wipe Me Down" rapper, previously known as Lil Boosie, claimed that the warrant was "being cleared."

On Tuesday, September 24, the 41-year-old hip-hop artist issued a statement to The Shade Room about the matter. In a video that he sent to the blog, it could be seen that he was sitting inside a car while speaking to the camera, "Hey, I need to speak on this Austin situation."

Boosie went on to say, "It was just a misunderstanding. Warrant being cleared," before explaining what led to the arrest warrant. He continued, "Actually he talked to one of my guys and said the price. I never knew nothing about that but everything being cleared so obviously it was a misunderstanding."

The spitter further stated, "I'm just glad it's being resolved bro. I paid the rest of the restitution," before reiterating, "It was just a misunderstanding man. I ain't finna do nothing on no fed paper about some crumbs." He then concluded, "Just misunderstanding. I'm lost of words."

The blog noted that "Boosie says he was under the impression his drops were made in an exchange for the service." It continued, "Boosie also reveals that the chauffeured vehicle was broken into while he was working with the company. He says his items were stolen out of the car."

Boosie's statement came after it was reported that the Baton Rouge rapper, who is known legally as Torence Ivy Hatch Jr., was facing a theft of services charge in Travis County, Texas for allegedly failing to pay for chauffeur services during a visit to Austin in June.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a limousine and chauffeur service company provided transportation to Boosie and his entourage from June 5 to June 7, but never received payment. The affidavit states that the company drove Boosie to various locations, including Walmart, Urgent Care, Burger King, a trampoline park and a business.

The driver asked Boosie and his manager about payment several times and later sent an $8,800 invoice. Despite promoting the business on social media, Boosie and the company reportedly never agreed that the video would fully cover the cost of services.
