AceShowbiz - Aubrey O'day revealed that she wrote a song about Sean "P. Diddy" Combs in the past. However, the former Danity Kane member left many people annoyed after sharing the track via social media.
On Sunday, September 22, the 40-year-old singer/reality TV star became a hot topic on Instagram. Earlier that day, a blog shared a snippet of her song about the hip-hop artist that she originally uploaded on Instagram Story.
In the recording, Aubrey sang, "As soon as I signed it was higher/ There's no escape/ This street's one way/ Leading to a dead end/ Covered up in dead men/ Wish I learned the lesson/ Woulda never got in."
"I want to escape/ But there's no way/ It's only a dead end/ Covered up in dead men/ Everyone is left here/ Feeling betrayed," Aubrey continued. "Go, if you meet him run away/ Go, save yourself, I'll take the blame."
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with online responses. Instead of giving their support, Instagram users criticized the OnlyFans model. In the comments section, some users accused her of lying and argued that she wrote the song recently.
One in particular noted, "This song has BEEN out. It's called Devil & Me. Lyrics easy to google. She's not listed as a songwriter on the DSPs though." A few others appeared to dislike the song with one writing, "I don't rock with Diddy but we ain't listening to this s**t either."
Meanwhile, another told Aubrey to "tell your story girl cuz we are not about to keep playing blues clues with you." A third suggested, "Okay how bout just tell us what exactly he did to you so we hold him even more accountable." A fourth, in the meantime, accused Aubrey of "looking for too much attention."
The Stories came after Aubrey celebrated Diddy's recent arrest. Upon learning that he was put in jail for sex crimes, she took to Instagram on September 16 to say, "The purpose of Justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get this. I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me. Things are finally changing."
