In a recent interview with Ebro, Eve doubled down on defending Jay-Z, insisting that his words were not meant to discourage her but rather to prepare her for the industry's realities. She emphasized, "If you read the chapter, it is so not like that."
However, the public's reaction and headlines suggesting that Jay-Z was attempting to "discourage" Eve reached his camp. Eve revealed, "Yea, I got a phone call!"
