AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' family continues to put on a united front following the embattled hip-hop mogul's arrest on Monday, September 16. His three sons were all seen at the courthouse where the rapper was expected to arrive before his arraignment after his arrest and indictment.
Quincy Brown, Justin Dior Combs and Christian Casey a.k.a. King Combs arrived at the federal courthouse in lower Manhattan on Tuesday morning, September 17, before their father went before a judge for the first time. King was seen making his way with a group of seven to the fifth floor arraignment room.
In the arraignment room, the 26-year-old was seated in an orange chart and surrounded by the other men. He was seen reading the 14-page indictment outlining the allegations against his father.
While Diddy's sons accompanied him in New York City, his twin daughters are hanging back in California with a family friend. D'Lila and Jessie are currently in Los Angeles under the care of their late mother Kim Porter's best friend Lala, sources tell TMZ.
Lala reportedly has acted as a caregiver for the girls for years, though she is not a legal guardian. Lala oversees the girls' day-to-day schedules as they are currently attending school in L.A. Lala, who acts as a mother figure, does her best to protect the girls and keep the outside noise away. The twins, however, remain supportive of their father and are hopeful for his release.
As reported before, Diddy was arrested on Monday night at a midtown hotel where he was staying. He was subsequently taken to the FBI Field Office in Manhattan. He was indicted on sex trafficking, racketeering and kidnapping charges. He pled not guilty during his court appearance on Tuesday morning.
He is currently being held without bail despite his defense filing a proposed bail package that included a $50 million bond, the passports of his family members and the equity of Diddy's mother Janice's Florida condo, along with a home detention provision coupled with GPS monitoring.
Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo told reporters following the arraignment, "He's going to clear his name and we're going to stand by his side as he does. We believe in him wholeheartedly."
