AceShowbiz - In the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) on Disney+, White Vision's journey from "WandaVision" will continue in his own series, titled "Vision Quest". This announcement was made by Mary Livanos, producer of the upcoming spinoff "Agatha All Along".
The "Vision Quest" series will follow the events of "WandaVision", where White Vision gained the memories of the original and embarked on a new path. James Spader will reprise his role as Ultron, the iconic MCU villain from "Avengers: Age of Ultron". The writers involved in this project include Megan McDonnell ("WandaVision") and Peter Cameron ("Moon Knight").
"Agatha All Along" will premiere on Disney+ on September 18 and will feature Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness. The series explores the aftermath of Agatha's defeat on "WandaVision" and her subsequent spell distortion following "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness". It introduces a mysterious teen character, believed to be Billy Maximoff, who embarks on the Witches' Road to seek powers.
Livanos has confirmed that "Vision Quest" will pick up after the events of "WandaVision" and will connect to other MCU properties. Jac Schaeffer, the original showrunner of both "WandaVision" and "Agatha All Along", has passed the baton to Terry Matalas of "Star Trek: Picard" season 3 for "Vision Quest".
While "Vision Quest" will primarily focus on Agatha's story, Schaeffer emphasizes that it will exist within the same narrative universe as "WandaVision". The series aims to be standalone while maintaining connections to the wider MCU.
With "Agatha All Along" and "Vision Quest" in development, the MCU continues to expand on Disney+, offering fans exciting new stories and characters. The future of White Vision and the ongoing saga of Agatha Harkness remain intriguing elements to watch in the ever-evolving multiverse of Marvel.
